City of San Fernando 250th Independence Day Celebration

Celebrate Independence Day with the City of San Fernando with two free events. On June 27 enjoy live music and foodzilla, showcasing some of the Valley’s best food trucks and artisan vendors at San Fernando City Hall. On July 4 head to Recreation Park for a patriotic Drone Show, a light show in the sky set to music.
Patriotic Pop Up on the Lido Deck

Kick off the holiday weekend at Newport Beach’s waterfront shopping and dining destination during its Patriotic Pop Up on the Lido Deck. Guests can enjoy live patriotic favorites performed by Patriot Brass while taking part in hands-on seasonal workshops, including a patriotic floral arranging class with French Buckets and a watercolor American flag workshop led by Bailey Art Studios. Pink Lady Creamery will also be serving handcrafted ice cream, creating a festive waterfront atmosphere perfect for families, friends and visitors looking to celebrate ahead of the Fourth.

Celebrate Fourth of July weekend and America’s 250th birthday at Ventura Harbor Village with 250 minutes of live music and good vibes. From Noon-4:10 p.m. local bands will play at the CI Courtyard and Promenade Stage. Browse the shops and grab a bite at one of the waterfront restaurants.

For those looking to spend the holiday on the water, Newport Dunes is hosting its annual Independence Day on the Back Bay celebration featuring live music, food trucks, watersports, family activities and a spectacular fireworks display over the Back Bay on July 4. Visitors can kayak, paddleboard, cruise Newport Harbor in a Duffy boat, enjoy the Inflatable Aquatic Park and take in live entertainment throughout the weekend before the fireworks spectacular at 9 p.m.

Ronald Regan Presidential Museum hosts its annual Fourth of July Celebration, featuring live music by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Band and country artist Justin Hosinger, family-friendly activities like face painting and lawn games and more. The West Coast’s biggest free Fourth of July celebration returns to Gloria Molina Grand Park. This all-day, all-ages party features two stages of live music, community resources, family-friendly workshops, food trucks and ending in a 3D drone light show across the DTLA sky.

Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s July 4th Extravaganza returns to Warner Park with a free concert and 20-minute spectacular fireworks display. Come early to grab dinner from one of the food trucks, browse the arts and crafts vendors and local businesses selling their goods and more. Admission is free. VIP tickets are available.
Jurassic Park + Fireworks Show

Hollywood Forever Cemetary 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles
Cinespia presents Steven Spielberg’s 1992 blockbuster “Jurassic Park” at Hollwood Forever Cemetery, followed by a Fourth of July fireworks show. Bring your picnic and blankets to watch the dinosaurs roam on screen, and the sky light up in real life.
Gates open at 7:15 p.m. and movie starts at 9 p.m.
